Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Door Seal Check
Check the door seals regularly and clean them to ensure they are free from debris and form a proper seal. This helps maintain the refrigerator's efficiency and prevents cool air from escaping.
External Cleaning
Wash the outer cabinet with warm soapy water. Avoid using abrasive products to prevent damage to the surface. Be cautious of sharp edges on the underside while cleaning.
Condenser and Compressor Maintenance
Dust the condenser (black grille) and the compressor at the back of the appliance once or twice a year using a brush or vacuum cleaner. This prevents dust accumulation that can affect performance and increase electricity consumption.
Food Storage Tips
Do not push food together too much; allow air to circulate around each item. Ensure food is covered and remove any suspect food to prevent contamination and odors.
Optimal Appliance Location
Locate the refrigerator in a cool, well-ventilated room, away from heat sources like cookers or radiators. Ensure air openings are not obstructed for efficient operation.
